Description
Budiño de Serraseca has got:

In 1753 the land registry by Ensenada took a census of the head office of the present Budiño de Serraseca and registered the name of its inhabitant Benito Álvarez (a weaver).
Is placed in Viladesuso, in the council of Oia (region of Baixo Miño) between Baiona and A Guarda, very near Portugal and 30 km. from Vigo.
On the river, between the mountains and the sea. Its 5000 m2 land, on the banks of the river Broi, still has the typical vegetation of the riverside forests.
Ethnographic collection
The estate of Budiño de Serraseca still preserves several constuctions ("horreo", a watermill and a linen weir) which confirm its past as a prosperous farm.
Organic farming
We also have fruit and vegetable garden, grown under organic criteria, which provides the house with fruit and vegetable enough to offer breakfast and dinner cooked with top-quality and healthy products.
In its area many archaeological remains of great interest are preserved,the cave art points in Mougás; Pedra do Cazador (hunter stone) in Pedornes with hunting scenes, Pedra Escrita (written stone), in Burgueira, with the engraving of a huge labyrinth of 110 cm in diameter; or Auga dos Cebros, in Pedornes, where a vessel with its mast and sails is shown.
In Oia the traditional Rapa das Bestas is still kept alive. Nowadays on the hillsides, between Gondomar and A Guarda, hundreds of wild horses graze the whole year. In spring they are put together to be branded in the curros. Valga curro starts in May the season of rapa das bestas.
