Description
A house with charm
Casa Piñeiro was built in the beginning of the 20th century in the heart of the native forest known as Fragas do Eume. Around the early 90's Flor and Juan decided to recondition the family cottage where her father and herself were born. The house was built using the noblest materials found on earth: galician slate and solid oak; precious materials which the architects, Iñaki Mendizábal and Ana Recuna, were able to make the most of. They found the way of filling the house with natural light even by respecting the original structure.
Casa Piñeiro offers the guest all the comfort of modern life integrated in a rural environment. It has five double bedrooms avaliable, two of them include a small attic which provides the possibility of hosting a third guest. The cottage also has a warm living room with a lovely fireplace and confortable sofas where our guests may feel free to read and chat with friends. It takes up the space where back in the day the cows used to be kept and where you shall still find the watering trough, which has been preserved. In addition, the house also offers a kitchenette, as it used to be very common in galician cottages, completely modernised. It has a beautiful gallery as well, which conects with the garden, where you can find a barbecue grill for the enjoyment of our guests.

Everything is ready for an unique stay
All of our bedrooms have private bathrooms. In addition we have We also offer rooms specially adapted to the needs of handicapped persons or individuals with reduced mobility. Our kitchen is fully equipped and in our large garden our guest may as well enjoy a summer barbecue while keeping in touch with nature. Do not hesitate to contact us for any other service you may need.
