Description
Pazo de Sedor is a seventeenth-century manor house founded by Francisco Gonzalez do Vilar.
In 1995 it was converted into a lodging for rural tourism after careful restoration. It was last remodelled in 2010.
The most noteworthy features of the main facade are the balcony, wich runs the full length of the building, and the roof, crowned by a large Baroque chimney.
On the inside there is an outstanding wide main staircase that goes between two walls, as well as the old kitchen or "lareira" with an enourmous fireplace and two ovens.
The communal areas can be found on the ground floor: living rooms, kitchen and an ample sitting room that is perfect for meetings. On the upper floors can be found the rooms; all of them are of a good size although different in character, uniquely adapted to their place in the overall design of the house. The dinning room is in an annex and offers both breakfast- buffet and dinner service.
